The Peculiar Traveller

As a lover of both Tarot and fairy tales, I soon felt the desire to write stories inspired by the rich symbolism of the Tarot cards — stories that follow the same enchanting structure and rhythm as classic fairy tales, and that, like all true tales, end with a sense of magic and meaning. Just like the Tarot itself, these stories offer more than what appears at first glance. Whether you’re 9, 19, or 99 years old, each tale can be a meaningful guide on your journey of personal growth. In every booklet, you’ll find a fairy tale I wrote for one specific Tarot card, followed by a deeper explanation of its symbolism and questions that invite you to step into the story — and into the world of the card — yourself. With love, Imke
